Neighborhood

The Ridgeview neighborhood is formed around Ridgeview Elementary School between 94th and 98th Street in West Bloomington. Ridgeview is comprised of around 20 single family homes ranging from $200,000 to $500,000 in price. House styles in Ridgeview are a mix of ramblers and split levels. Ridgeview is an excellent neighborhood with much to offer including great homes for sale, family friendly community, and convenient location.

One of the best amenities available to residents of Ridgeview is the abundance of recreational amenities located nearby. Parks within close proximity to the neighborhood include Highland Greens Golf to the south, Tarnhill Park to the east, and Hyland Park to the west. Within these three parks, visitors can enjoy recreational activities such as golfing, skiing and snowboarding, fishing, boating, and more. The closest shopping center in the area is Normandale Village just a short distance to the east offering numerous shops and restaurants. Some shops in Normandale Village include Caribou Coffee, Ace Hardware, Great Clips, Anytime Fitness, and several others.

Timberglade is a part of Independent School District 271, also known as Bloomington Public Schools, which has served the entire City of Bloomington since 1917. Bloomington Public Schools is one of the top school districts in the Twin Cities earing state and national recognitions. The closest school to the Timberglade neighborhood is Ridgeview Elementary, which serves around 400 students in grades K-5. The student to teacher ratio at the school is 16.3 and is ranked first among elementary schools in Bloomington. Other nearby schools include Normandale Hills Elementary, Bethany Academy, and Olson Elementary and Middle School.
